The 2013 Mum Ball will help to rennovate the entire fifth floor of Martin Health's flagship hospital, Martin Medical Center, in downtown Stuart.  The floor houses two critical patient care units: the Porgressive Care Unit, for patients who are stepping down from intensive care, and the Telemetry Unit, where more than 2,000 patients will be cared for on this special "Mum" floor in a modern enviroment that promotes healing.  A portion of the funds raised will also be dedicated to the Chrysanthemum Ball Endowment Fund which was created in 2008 to support ongoing annual patient care needs.
Project Goal: $1,000,000

This past year the Mum Ball celebrated 19 years of buying life-saving care for the community. The gala has raised more than $12 million for critical hospital projects and cutting-edge technologies, including the development of an inpatient Radiation Therapy suite, the da Vinci Robotic Surgery System, a new interventional Radiology Suite, bedside computers, two complete cardiac catheterization labs, a 64-slice CT scanner, and a PET/CT scanner. A special thanks to all of our 2012 sponsors who helped raise $900,000!  We look forward to welcoming you back for another year!
